THE GAME:
The Lady Tigers conclude a two-game road stretch with the second of three nonconference matches this season against The Citadel.

SSU faced off against The Citadel at the ISTAP Collegiate Cup in Montgomery, Alabama on September 11. They lost to the Lady Bulldogs 1-3. (Read more about it here)

Freshman Zariya Thomas has 92 kills, averaging 1.67 kills per set this season, while Gabrielle Nathaniel is averaging 1.51 kills a set with 86 on the books this year.

Junior Christian Lyle has had a quiet season thus far, but stepped up in Sunday's win with a season-high 11 kills to lead the Lady Tigers in the victory.

Anchoring the setter position has been sophomore Caitlynn Masoe, who recovered from an injury early in the season. She leads the team in assists with 227, averaging 5.04 per set. Libero Alexis Washington leads the Lady Tigers in digs with 121 this season

Dilworth still leads the Lady Tigers in kills (100) even after missing the last four matches. She is in recovery from a concussion suffered against Florida A&M. Her return date remains unclear.

The Citadel is 5-13 on the season. They enter Tuesday's contest on a five game losing streak. Bailey Kerondle leads the Lady Bulldogs with 148 kills (2.69 per set). Amanda Rudnik leads the defense with 220 digs (3.44 per set).
