Quick Notes:

· This will be the second consecutive year the Tigers will travel to face Coppin in Baltimore. Last season SSU defeated Coppin 56-48 in Baltimore.

· Both teams will be playing in its second conference game and be vying for a 2-0 conference start.

· The Eagles are led by Michael Murray who is averaging 15.7 ppg and 5.2 rpg. Coppin is looking to snap a six-game losing streak.

· SSU's conference win over Maryland Eastern Shore snapped a 10-game losing skid for the Tigers. The Tigers haven't enjoyed back-to-back wins since defeating Tennessee Temple and Florida National on Nov. 12 and 14, respectively.

· Tigers are looking for their first road win of the season. SSU is 0-8 this season on the road.

· SSU's Jyles Smith was named the MEAC Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending 11/17.
