SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Savannah State University women's and men's basketball teams will play their last regular season home game tonight against North Carolina A&T in Tiger Arena beginning at 6 p.m.

SSU will also honor the student-athletes graduating and playing their final match in Tiger Arena. From the women's basketball team, senior's Alisha Nelson and Fila Smith will be recognized.
 And from the SSU Cheerleading squad, Erika Wheatley, and Kelsey Gore will be honored.

Savannah State will hit the road for their last game of the regular season, taking on Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference opponent University of Maryland Eastern Shore on March 1^st.

The Tigers compete in the MEAC for the first time this year and will participate in the MEAC Championship Tournament in Winston Salem, N.C., beginning on March 5^th, and continuing through March 10^th.
