SAVANNAH, Ga.- The Savannah State golf program will host the MEAC Showcase Golf Tournament on April 10-13 at Henderson Golf Course.

The tourney will include several schools from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

Committing from the men's side are Bethune-Cookman, Florida A&M, Hampton North Carolina Central, Maryland-Eastern Shore and SSU.

The women's side will feature a four-team field made up of Hampton, Bethune-Cookman, South Carolina State and SSU.

There will be a practice round on Sunday, April 10 and the two-day tournament play starts on April 1.

The men will play 36 holes (2 rounds) on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday while the women will play 18 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.

There will be a shotgun start.

Henderson is an 18-hole course playing up to 6,700 yards with a par 71 layout.
