SAVANNAH, Ga.- Savannah State University will revive its Athletic Hall of Fame this year.

Initially established in 1973, the SSU Hall of Fame was started to recognize and honor former student- athletes, coaches, athletics administration/staff and friends of the athletics department.

No inductions have been held since 1974.

Nominations can be made in four categories: Individual athlete, former coach/administrator, athletics staff and honorary.

A selection committee will choose the new members.

The deadline to have nominations in is April 1, 2010.
