SAVANNAH, Ga.-The postseason push continues for our spring sports programs as all of them are deep in the mix for qualifying spots to their respective conference championship tournaments. This upcoming week proves to be another vitally important one that we'll cover in our latest installment of "This Week In Tiger Athletics".
Women's Golf
The Savannah State women's golf squad heads deep in the heart of the "Lone Star State" this week to take part in the Women In Golf Championship. The action begins on Monday, March 30th and concludes on Tuesday, April 1st at The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch in the Dallas suburb of Katy, Texas.

Women's Tennis
The Lady Tiger women's tennis squad has had quite the turnaround season thus far and are deep in contention for earning a qualifying spot at the 2026 SIAC Women's Tennis Championship. Savannah State will look to make more noise in the conference this week as they will take part in the second SIAC Tennis Roundup. The competition takes place on Wednesday, April 1st-Friday, April 3rd at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama.

Baseball
The Tiger Baseball squad responded the right way this past weekend with a three-game home sweep of Miles College. The Tigers will look to keep the positive momentum rolling this week as they will be in action four times. Savannah State closes out their four-game homestand on Tuesday afternoon, March 31st as they will step out of conference play to face USC Beaufort. First pitch is set for 4:00pm at Tiger Field. Following that, Savannah State will hit the road to Alabama for a key three-game SIAC series against the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University. A doubleheader will start things on Friday, April 3rd at 1:00pm & 4:00pm, then the series finale on Saturday, April 4th at 1:00pm/
