At Hart County, he had 58 tackles, five break-ups, two forced fumbles and eight interceptions during his senior season. He went to State Championship for track in the 100m and 200m dash.
Personal: born on August 14, 1990…Parents are Kim and Daryl Rucker…Hobbies include hanging out with friends and fishing…Also recruited by Georgia Southern, Johnson C. Smith and Wake Forest…High School coach is Joby Scrogg
Misc – Cousin of Sam Maxwell who is currently a linebacker at the University of Kentucky. He is also the cousin of Rod Harland who is currently a cornerback at the Citadel. 
2009: Rucker played in all 10 games for the Tigers last year. He recorded 13 total tackles and has one interception. He had a season high four tackles against N.C. Central on Nov. 21, 2009
2010: Rucker played in 11 games and recorded 34 tackles and one interception on the season. He had one interception that he returned for 37 yards in SSU’s win over N.C. Central. He had a season high of six tackles at Florida A&M and against Norfolk State (Nov. 20, 2010)
