At Jefferson, he finished his senior year with four interceptions. He was named to the All-Northeast Georgia First Team, All-Gainesville First Team, and All Region team.
Personal: born on December 24, 1990…parents are Tabitha Wood…hobbies include playing basketball, singing, dancing and writing music…also recruited by Georgia Southern, Florida A&M, St. Francis and Presbyterian…high school coach is  Bill Navas. 
2010: Martin played in nine games and earned a total of 16 tackles for the Tigers. He recorded one breakup against Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 18 and has a season high of five tackles against Georgia Southern on Sept. 4.
