Personal: born on March 1, 1991…Parents are Barbara Cooper…Hobbies include computers and playing sports…Also recruited by UAB, Middle Tennessee and Louisville…High School coach is Frank Barden. 
2009: Cooper played in eight games as a true freshman for the tigers. He recorded 24 total tackles, had one interception for 19 yards and also has five pass breakups. Cooper recorded a career high five tackles at North Carolina Central on Nov. 21, 2009. But his best game from the 2009 season came against Bethune-Cookman on Oct. 17, 2009 were he recorded four tackles and has three pass breakups.
