Volleyball
After a season that once again set new standards for volleyball at Savannah State, the 2026 edition of the Lady Tigers have their final tune-up for the season this Friday, August 28th in their annual Orange & Blue Intersquad Scrimmage. First serve is set for 6:00pm inside of Tiger Arena. Admission is free, so come on out and ee some exciting SSU Lady Tiger Volleyball!

Football
The Thomas Howard Era of Savannah State football begins this weekend as the Orange and Blue officially opens their 2026 campaign against the defending MEAC and HBCU National Champion, South Carolina State Bulldogs. Kickoff is set for Saturday, August 28th at 6:00pm inside of Oliver C. Dawson Bulldog Stadium at Willie Jeffries Field. The matchup will be shown live on ESPN+.
