SAVANNAH, Ga.- The Savannah State women's golf team hosted the Savannah State Spring Invitational at Crosswinds Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday. The Lady Tigers finished the two-day event in sixth place.
Leading the way for SSU was
Zell Wilson who finished 12th overall with a score of 243 (79-78-86).
Morgan Wilkerson was 17th after carding a 253 (83-84-86) while
Jenna Wilson was right behind her, finishing tied for 18th with a score of 254 (88-78-88).
Ziporah Ward was tied for 26th after her score of 271 (90-91-90) andÂ
Corynn Rodney shot 274 (93-85-96) to come in 28th.
Christian Brothers was the overall team winner followed by Milligan, Edward Waters, Auburn-Montgomery, Savannah State, Mars Hill, Central State and Fisk.
