
ATLANTA, Ga.- The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has released their all conference selections for the 2023 season and Savannah State defensive back
Deandre Creary has been named to the All-SIAC First Team.
Members of the all conference team were selected by league coaches and sports information directors.

Aaron Kelton said that Creary was deserving of the honor and expect good things to continue for him in the future.
"He has worked hard all year and was very solid all year. His hard work is paying off. We are excited about his future here at Savannah State and in Savannah State Football."
During the season, Creary led the Tigers in interceptions (3) and pass breakups (7). He was second on the squad in solo tackles (27) and fourth in total tackles (33). The sophomore also had a pair of tackles for loss.
Creary was a member of a Tiger defensive unit that ranked third in the SIAC in pass defense, allowing 196.1 yards per game.
Listed at 6-foot and 170-pounds, the Marietta, Georgia native had a season-high seven tackles (6 solo) against Benedict and two pass breakups against Albany State. Creary had interceptions against Southeastern, Edward Waters and Benedict and his tackle for loss came against Southeastern and Albany State.
