Greene Leads SSU Women At Bruins Invite

GREENVILLE, S.C.- The Savannah State University women's cross country team competed in the Bruins Invite on October 28, 2023. The meet was hosted by Bob Jones University.
 
The Lady Tigers finished fourth in the event.
 
Maddison Green was the first Lady Tiger to cross the finish line. The freshman had a run of 32:19.1 to finish in 21st.
 
The rest of the Savannah State runners finished right behind each other in the 26-29 slots.
 
Kinya Jackson had a time of 34:51.4, Sadrea Mabry's time was 36:00.1, Shaniah McDaniels finished with a time of 40:47.6 and DaAliyah Johnson stopped the clock at 40:54.1.
 
Columbia (SC) won the event with 25 points, followed by Bob Jones (40), Johnson & Wales (66) and Savannah State (103).
 
Angeline Kravitz of Columbia was the individual winner with a time of 23:58.9.
