SAVANNAH, Ga.- The Savannah State University women's basketball team will hold their inaugural "Pink Night" on October 26 at 7 p.m. in Tiger Arena.

The purpose of the event will be to support the Paint the Town Pink campaign sponsored by St. Joseph's/Candler and Savannah Morning News as well as to bring mindfulness to Breast Cancer Awareness and support the Telfair Mammography Fund.

 Pink Night at SSU will consist of prize drawings, three-on-three contest, free throw contest, three-point contest and a Pink Fashion Show featuring Savage Inc, Lethal Allure and Timeless.

Those who purchase a ticket for the drawing will have a chance to win one of three prizes. Third prize will be a pink bicycle, second prize will be a pink iPad and the grand prize winner will receive a Mac book Air.

Tickets for the drawing are $5.00 each. There will also be Pink Night t-shirts for sale and they can be purchased at pinknightgear.myshopyify.com

100 percent of the donations received at the door will support the Telfair Mammography Fund.
