STATESBORO, Ga.- Jadon Roundtree led the Savannah State University men's cross country team with a third place finish at the Georgia Southern Fall Classic on October 14 at the Bulloch Disc Golf Course.
 
Roundtree crossed the finish line at 31:28.00 which was ten seconds behind the second place finisher.
 
Three other SSU runners finished in the top ten as Christian Landry was seventh with a time of 37:06.77, Alex Loyd was eighth with a time of 37:09.59 and Nehemiah Shanks came in ninth after being clocked at 37:20.38.
 
Rounding out the Tigers who participated in the race are Jordan Scruggs and Jayden Wilson. Scruggs finished in the 11th spot with a time of 39:47.71 and Wilson was right behind him in 12th with a time of 41:41.34.
 
Jacob Mitchell of  the University of South Carolina-Beaufort was the overall winner in the 8k race, finishing with a time of 26:25.00.
