Football Tickets Now On Sale

SAVANNAH Ga. – Savannah State football season tickets and single game are now on sale exclusively at ssuathletics.com/tickets

The Tigers' 2021 home schedule features six games, including three Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) contests.  You can also purchase tickets to the first game of the season against Valdosta State at the link above. 

Savannah State opens a three-game homestand on Sept. 11 against Livingstone College on Armed Forces Night at Theodore A. Wright Stadium.

The next Saturday, SSU opens SIAC play against Benedict College with the Alumni and Faculty/Staff Night game on Sept.18. On Sept. 25, the Tigers host Morehouse College on Greek Night/Open Campus Day in a key SIAC matchup.

The Tigers return to Theodore A. Wright Stadium on Oct. 9 with a non-conference battle against Erskine College on Breast Cancer Awareness Night. The following week, Oct. 16, Savannah State celebrates Homecoming against SIAC opponent Clark Atlanta University.

Following two road SIAC games, against Albany State and Fort Valley State, the Tigers return to Savannah to end the regular season on Nov. 6 against Edward Waters on Senior Day/Community and High School Band Day.

Savannah State was voted to finish No. 1 in the SIAC East Division in a preseason rankings poll. Senior running back D'Angelo Durham was named the 2021 SIAC Preseason Offensive Player Of The Year and 11 football players were named to the All-SIAC First and Second Teams. In their first season back in the SIAC, following a 20 year absence, Savannah State went 7-3 overall and 5-0 in SIAC play during the 2019 season.

Season tickets start at $135 for all six home games this season. Regular season tickets start at $12. Season tickets and regular tickets can ONLY be purchased online now at ssuathletics.com/tickets.
