JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – The Savannah State women's golf team competed in the annual Don Benbow Invitational, played on the Jacksonville Beach Golf Course, this past week.
The Lady Tigers were led by
Kayla Jones, who carded a 167 (85, 82).
Ja'Davia McCallum shot a 170 (89, 81), while
Monique Veal shot a 173 (88, 85), and
Alyssa Clements carded a 179 (94, 85).
Savannah State finished 14
th with a team score of 689 (356, 333). St. John's won the tournament with a team score of 605 (309, 296), followed by Quinnipiac (612) and Austin Peay State (623). Youngstown State's Puthita Khuanrudee won the overall individual race with a 146 (76, 70).
