CARRABELLE, Fla.- Savannah State's men golf team finished third in the Florida A&M Spring Invitational with a team score of 622. After shooting 314 in the first round, SSU improved their score to 308 in the second round.
The tournament was held at the St. James Bay Golf Club.
Bethune-Cookman won the nine-team tournament with a score of 585 followed by Florida A&M (591), SSU, Miles (637) and Hampton (639) to round out the top five.
Zach Otto of Savannah State carded a 151 to finish tied for 10th. Otto shot 77 in the first round and 74 in the second round.
Korbin Allen of SSU (153) was tied for 13th, Lance Eldridge (158) was tied for 22nd, Dylan Mullaney (160) was tied for 26th and Jaden Thiemann (171) finished 37th.
Low medalist for the tournament was FAMU's Ethan Mangum who shot 136.
