                     SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Savannah State University women's tennis team (2-10) starts Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Wednesday traveling to South Carolina State University (1-2, 1-0 MEAC) at 2 p.m. in Orangeburg, S.C.
 
The next five matches for the Lady Tigers are against MEAC schools and are on a two-match winning streak after defeating Norfolk State University, in a non-conference battle, 6-1, and Lafayette College, 4-3. 
 
After the FAMU home match was postponed from last Sunday to April 11, the Lady Tigers match against the Bulldogs will be the first in two weeks since the Lafayette win on March 14. 
 
Senior 
Rachida El Kateb, freshman 
Muskaan Ranjan and freshman 
Shakendra Alston are riding a two-singles match win streak, while doubles teams of freshman 
Sofia Shut'ko and El Kateb and freshman 
Ekaterina Vorobeva and Alston are also on a two-doubles match win streak.
 
The Lady Tigers continue the four match roadstand with a trip to Daytona Beach, Fla., to face Bethune-Cookman University Thursday, April 5 at 2 p.m.
