SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Savannah State University women's basketball team (2-5) travels to Corvallis, Ore., to face Oregon State University Wednesday at 2 p.m. Eastern Time.
This will be the first matchup between the Lady Tigers and Oregon State.
Junior forward Kaylee Allen leads the Lady Tigers with 13.3 points per game, which ranks eighth in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, and averages 4.1 rebounds, while junior guard Donasja Scott averages 12.1 points and 7.6 rebounds.
Freshman center Alexxus Sowell leads the team with 8.7 rebounds per game, while freshman guard Heniaya Moton averages 9.8 points and 1.2 assists per game.
This game will be the second of the four game homestand for Oregon State. The Beavers started the homestand with a 110-62 win against San Jose State Sunday and is currently on a three-game winning streak. OSU is led by Marie Gulich with 16.1 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game, Kat Tudor with 13.4 points per game, Miayla Pivec with 13.4 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game.
The Lady Tigers return to the east coast with a trip to Columbia, S.C., to face the NCAA National Champions University of South Carolina Sunday at 3 p.m.
