SAVANNAH, Ga. – After eight days off from since the last game, Savannah State University women's basketball team stays in Savannah to play in the Savannah Invitational this week in the Civic Center in downtown.
 
The Lady Tigers start with Providence College (1-2) Tuesday at 7 p.m., followed by University of Richmond (3-1) Wednesday at 2 p.m. and University of Florida on Thanksgiving Day at 7 p.m.
 
Junior forward Kaylee Allen leads the Lady Tigers with 18.5 points per game and averages 6.0 rebounds per game, while junior guard Donasja Scott leads the team with 10.5 rebounds per game and averages 17.5 points per game.
 
Freshman center Alexxus Sowell averages 9.5 rebounds per game and 5.0 points per game, while freshman guard Heniaya Moton averages 9.5 points per game and 3.0 rebounds per game. 
 
Providence is led by Jovanna Nogic with 22.3 points per game, while Maddie Jolin averages 15.0 points per game and Clara Che averages 11.0 points per game and 4.0 rebounds per game.  Ny-Asia Franklin leads the team with 6.7 rebounds per game and averages 7.0 points per game.
 
Richmond is led by Micaela Parson with 18.8 points per game and averages 5.5 rebounds per game, while sister Alex Parson averages 11.8 points per game and 3.5 rebounds per game and Kailyn Fee averages 10.8 points per game.  Amy Duggan leads the team with 8.0 rebounds per game. 
 
Florida has lost the last two games and is led by Funda Nakkasoglu with 14.3 points per game and averages 4.0 rebounds per game, while Paulina Hersler averages 12.7 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game and Haley Lorenzen leads the team with 8.0 rebounds per game and averages 9.7 points per game.
 
The Lady Tigers stay in Georgia traveling to nearby Statesboro to face Georgia Southern University Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m.
