> No. 2 seeded Savannah State enters the semifinals of the 2015 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championship on a program-high nine-game winning streak. They take on No. 3 seed North Carolina A&T State in Game 19 of the tournament
> The Lady Tigers are fighting for a chance to get further in the tournament than any SSU basketball team ever has. They lost to five-time defending MEAC Champion Hampton in the semifinals of the 2014 tournament.
> This will be the third matchup between SSU and NCAT this season, and the 12th in the series. The Lady Tigers last loss of the current season came against the Lady Aggies in the team's last meeting. SSU fell 48-53 in Tiger Arena in late January after they beat NCAT 59-56 in Greensboro in early January; which was the program's first MEAC victory over NCAT. The Lady Aggies lead the overall series 9-2.
> NCAT enters the final four on a season-high 11-game win streak. Their last loss came against No. 4 Norfolk State in January.
> Game 19 will see the two highest ranking seeds left in the tournament play each other, after No. 1 seeded Hampton fell to No. 8 Maryland Eastern Shore in the tournament's biggest upset yet, on Wednesday.
