Coach Wilson on Howard game….
It was a butt-whooping, number one. Unfortunately, we didn't come out and do what we were supposed to do and we had some other factors going against us but they played a good game. And we did not execute like we can or fundamentally excel like we can. So unless we start doing that, I don't care how young or how old you are, you're going to have results like that.
Coach Wilson on turnovers...
Well, we had a couple changes with quarterbacks the last couple of weeks. And we've given up our last about 20 points, which we shouldn't have and it makes our defense look bad. When you really study stuff it turns out that we're our own Achilles heel but we've been working on it. It comes with experience and getting that quarterback more experience with what he's doing and it'll change.
Coach Wilson on game against Norfolk State ...
Well, you know it's their homecoming. They've got an outstanding quarterback. They have really good running back too. So it's going to be tough because they have a pretty good defense too. I'm looking at the defense now. They've been playing tough and Coach Scott seems to have them going in the right direction. He's doing a good job. So it's going to be a tough game especially with their homecoming.
