Coach Wilson on the bye week….
We got a lot accomplished. We didn't have spraying football and all that other good stuff and we were able to keep teaching our young guys and getting them better at what they do. So, we're really happy that we were able to get another bye week this season.
Coach Wilson on the Howard...
I think it's going to be a good game. Gary is coaching those guys well. Unfortunately, for them, they've had some bad breaks on this season but they're a good football team. They're a real good football team and he's a good coach so we're going to have or hands full.
Coach Wilson on a different SSU football team ...
It's different in a way that we've got athletes; we've got football players. We've got guys that can move and can run. It's not different of course as you can see in the way of wins and losses but you've actually seen some of the scores get closer. In my first two years or 24 months on this job, I had to talk about who's doing this wrong and who's doing that wrong. Now you're not seeing as many academic problems, you don't see any drug problems you don't see any crime problems. What you're seeing is guys that are beginning to talk football strategies and that's a big difference.
