THE GAME:
Savannah State will attempt to quell a two-game losing streak in Monday's Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) game against North Carolina Central.  The Lady Tigers beat NCCU in the team's first meeting this year. SSU won 60-53 in Tiger Arena on February 17.

This is the 14th meeting of the teams in SSU's recorded history. NCCU leads the overall series 7-6. The Lady Tigers are tied with Florida A&M for 4th place in the MEAC standings with an 8-6 conference record. NCCU is in 9th with a 5-9 conference mark.

SSU head coach Cedric Baker, in his 11th year, has amassed over 100 Division I and SSU wins, as well as over 300 career wins. He reached all three marks this year.

Senior Ezinne Kalu leads the Lady Tigers, averaging 15.8 points per game. Jasmine Kirkland and Jasmine Norman follow Kalu, each averaging 9 points a game.
