THE GAME:
Savannah State travels to Tallahassee for their second match up with Florida A&M this season, off a 71-64 win against Bethune-Cookman on Saturday. The Lady Tigers beat FAMU 80-68 in their last game on January 20.

Saturday's win was the 10th game this season in which the Lady Tigers have scored more than 70 points. After going winless on the road last season, the Lady Tigers have been much approved, now with five road wins.

With the improvement to 6-2 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), SSU shares second place overall with Coppin State. Hampton leads the conference with an unblemished 8-0 record.

SSU's multiple scoring threats included senior's Ezinne Kalu (17.2 avg), Jasmine Kirkland (8.9 avg), junior Jasmine Norman (8.2 avg), freshman Kenyata Hendrix (7.5 avg) and junior Bria Dorsey (6.2 avg.).

11th year head coach Cedric Baker has 299 career coaching wins. He broke 100 Division I wins earlier this season.
