THE GAME:
Savannah State travels to Dover, Delaware to finish up a three-game road stretch.

This will be the 7th match up of the teams in SSU's NCAA Division I history (since 2002-03), and the first Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) game between the two programs. SSU is playing in their third year of competition in the MEAC. The Lady Hornets have a 5-1 Division I series advantage.

SSU enters the contest off a tough six point loss to Florida A&M on February 10. The Lady Tigers have their best MEAC record this season, 6-3, since joining the conference.

SSU's multiple scoring threats included senior's Ezinne Kalu (16.5 avg), Jasmine Kirkland (9.1 avg), junior Jasmine Norman (8.6 avg), freshman Kenyata Hendrix (7.6 avg) and freshman Tiyonda Davis (6.5 avg.) Davis leads the team in rebounds with 171 (7.4 avg).

11th year head coach Cedric Baker has 299 career coaching wins. He broke 100 Division I wins earlier this season.
