Game Central Volleyball: Winthrop University Tournament

GAME CENTRAL

The SSU volleyball program will open the 2013 season with a visit to Rock Hill, South Carolina this weekend. The Lady Tigers are scheduled to play Fordham University, Tennessee Tech University, and Winthrop University in the Winthrop University Tournament.

This is the 28^th season of volleyball at Savannah State. Interim head coach Jolanta Graham enters her first full year at the helm. Graham took over midway through the 2012 season. The Lady Tigers are a 10 person squad this year with six returners and four newcomers.

SCHEDULE: SSU vs. Fordham University, Aug. 30 – 4 p.m.
                        SSU vs. Tennessee Tech University, Aug. 31 – 10 a.m.
                        SSU vs. Winthrop University, Aug. 31 – 7 p.m.
