SAVANNAH, Ga.- The Savannah State football team will report to campus on July 29 to prepare for the 2012 season.
Second-year head football coach Steve Davenport expects to welcome around 90 players to camp.
The team will kick off fall practice on August 1 at 9 a.m.
The first three days of camp, the Tigers will practice in helmets and will practice in shells on day 4 and 5.
The team will practice in full gear August 6-9 and will have their first scrimmage on August 11 at 10:45 am.
August 18 will be SSU Fan Day as well as the Orange and Blue Scrimmage.
SSU will hold their final scrimmage on August 23 as they prep for the September 1 season opener at Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
