SAVANNAH, Ga.- The Savannah State Tigers will travel to Tallahassee, Florida on October 16 to play the Rattlers of Florida A&M at 3:00 p.m in Bragg Stadium.
SSU (0-6) enters the game still looking for the first win after suffering a 55-21 setback to Georgia State on Oct. 9 in the Georgia Dome.
Despite the loss, the Tigers put 21 points on the scoreboard, the most of any game this season and freshman running back
Sheldon Barnes ran for a career-high 78 yards and scored two touchdowns.

Justin Babb leads SSU in rushing with 260 yards followed by Antonio Bostic (188) and Barnes (182). Bostic has passed for 378 yards and two touchdowns and A.J. DeFilippis has thrown for 354 yards and one touchdown. The top wide receivers are
Simon Heyward who has 26 receptions for 204 yards and Brian Lackey who has caught 17 passes for 308 yards and two touchdowns.
Vince Cochran leads the defense with 56 tackles and
Darren Hunter is right behind with 55.
Florida A&M has a 2-3 record and is on a two-game losing streak.
Eddie Rocker leads the Rattlers in rushing with 122 yards and 2 touchdowns followed by Lavante Page's 112 yards and 4 touchdowns. Martin Ukpai has thrown for 611 yards and three touchdowns. Antonio Lawrence has 166 receiving yards and Kevin Elliott has 120 receiving yards.
Alvis Graham has 39 tackles to pace the FAMU defense followed by John Ojo (32) and Qier Hall (30).
FAMU leads the overall series 2-0. The teams last met in 2004.
