SAVANNAH, Ga.- The football game between Savannah State University and North Greenville University has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict.
The teams were scheduled to play October 10, 2009 in Savannah, GA at 5:00 p.m.
With the Crusaders off the schedule, Savannah State will play a ten game schedule with five home games.
The Tigers will have byes on Oct. 10 and November 17.
SSU will begin their 2009 season by playing Livingstone College in Greenville, SC in the HBCU Classic. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. at Sirrine Stadium.
Last season, Savannah State defeated Livingstone 45-10 in Savannah.
