2009 Football Schedule

SAVANNAH, Ga.- The Savannah State football team has set its kickoff times for home games for the 2009 season.

The Tigers will play six home games this season.

All home games with the exception of Homecoming will begin at 5:00 p.m.

Homecoming is set to kickoff at 2:00 p.m.

All home games will be played at Theodore A. Wright Stadium on the SSU campus.

The home opener is September 12 against Alabama State which will also be the 16th Annual Joe Turner Classic followed by a four game home stand in October with North Greenville (Oct. 10), Bethune-Cookman (Oct. 17), Old Dominion (Oct. 24) and Edward Waters (Oct. 31). The Tigers close out the home portion of their schedule in November against Webber International (Nov. 14).

Homecoming is Oct. 31.
