ATLANTA, Ga.-The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) office named its Baseball Players of the Week on Tuesday afternoon. Savannah State sophomore pitcher Austin McCormack was selected as the conference's Pitcher of the Week.

The Tampa, Florida native opened the week with two scoreless innings in a 7-0 win over Tampa, allowing just two hits while striking out two. He followed with a seven-inning start in a 6-3 victory over Morehouse. In that appearance, McCormack surrendered three earned runs on nine hits while striking out seven to secure the win.
