GREENSBORO, N.C.- The ABCA/Rawlings released their 2025 Division II All-Region teams on Wednesday and three members of the Savannah State University baseball team were among the honorees.
Receiving South Region recognition were outfielder 
Kendal Spencer, shortstop 
Reginald Tuggle and pitcher 
Brayden Thomas. Spencer was named to the First team while Tuggle and Thomas were named to the Second Team.
The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div.II All America & Coach of the Year Committee.
This is the fourth honor of the year for Spencer. The Tampa, Florida native has already been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-South Region Second Team, All-Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) First Team and the SIAC All-Tournament Team.
Spencer finished the 2025 season by leading the Tigers in batting (.446), runs (59), hits (70), triples (5), RBI (59), slugging percentage (.662), on base percentage (.568), sacrifice fly (9), walks (45) and steals (35). He was second on the team in home runs (5) and third in doubles (9).
Tuggle led SSU in doubles (18), was second on the team in runs (54), hits (57), triples (3) and RBI (48) and was third in stolen bases with 23 in 26 attempts. The Cheyenne, Wyoming native batted .388, had two home runs and a slugging percentage of .592.
This is also the fourth time this season that Tuggle has been honored. He was also named the SIAC Freshman of the Year, All-SIAC Second Team and the SIAC All-Tournament Team.
A native of Lake City, Florida, Thomas finished the year with a team-leading 90 innings pitched, 76 strikeouts and four complete games. He was the starting pitcher 14 times this season and made 16 appearances. Thomas ended the season with a 2.98 earned run average and a 6-2 overall record.
Thomas was also named the SIAC Starting Pitcher of the Year and garnered  All-SIAC First Team honors.
