SAVANNAH, Ga.- Savannah State senior Kendal Spencer has been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-South Region Team which was announced on Friday.
 
Spencer was selected to the All-South Region Second Team as a outfielder.
 
The Tampa, Florida native finished the 2025 season by leading the Tigers in batting (.446), runs (59), hits (70), triples (5), RBI (59), slugging percentage (.662), on base percentage (.568), sacrifice fly (9), walks (45) and steals (35). He was second on the team in home runs (5) and third in doubles (9).
 
The NCBWA honor is the third award for Spencer this year. He was also named to the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference First Team and the SIAC All-Tournament Team.
