Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina-The postseason accolades continue to roll in for the 2025 SIAC champion, Savannah State Men's Basketball squad. Senior guard and team co-captain Ayjay Plain was named a BoxToRow HBCU Division II Men's Basketball Second Team All-American.

The Melbourne, Florida native is leads the team in scoring, averaging 12.9 points per game and three-point percentage at .348. Plain is also second on the squad in total field goal percentage at .390.

Plain also made history during the 2024-25 campaign, eclipsing the 1000 career point mark. At present, Plain has amassed 1,081 points over his four seasons on "The Marsh". For his efforts during the 2025 SIAC Men's Basketball Championship, presented by Cricket, Plain was also selected to the All-Tournament Team.
