BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- Dominique Bailey had three top 15 finishes at the Samford Bulldog Open which was held Friday and Saturday at the Birmingham Metro Cross Plex.
Bailey finished fourth in the triple jump (13.14m), 11th in the long jump (6.24m) and 12th in the high jump (1.84m) to lead the Savannah State men in their second indoor meet of the season.
Tony Rountree finished seventh in the shot put with a throw of 13.78m and
Raymond McKoy was ninth in the high jump after his leap of 1.89m.
In the 60m hurdles,
Nyzaveon Thompson placed 11th with a run of 8.63 followed by Nehemiah Shanks who was 13th with his run of 8.86 and
Eszaunie Earls who was 17th with his time of 9.29.
Tyler Phillips finished 13th in the 60m race and was 31st in the 200m race with times of 7.04 and 23.34 respectively.
Christian Landry was 18th in the 400m race with a time of 52.32,
Yastremski Johnson finished 23rd in the 60m race with a run of 7.17 and
Jadon Rountree was 35th in the mile run after finishing with a time of 4:46.94.
