ATLANTA, Ga.- Amiyah Walker was named to the 2025 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball All-SIAC Second Team, as announced by the league office on Wednesday morning.
The 5-foot-4 sophomore finished the regular season with a team-leading 702 assists which had her second among her SIAC peers.
Walker played in 88 sets and started all 25 matches. She tallied 117 points 81 kills and 19 serving aces and contributed on the defensive end with 256 digs and 32 blocks.
The Pleasant Grove, Alabama native earned SIAC Setter of the Week following her performance in the SIAC Crossover that was held in Memphis Tennessee.
During the regular season, Walker had season-highs of eight kills against Middle Georgia State on September 4, had 4 blocks against Central State on October 10, had 44 assists against Edward Waters on Oct. 17, had 9 points and 3 aces against Fort Valley State on Oct. 23 and 16 digs against Allen on Oct. 28.
Walker made the 2024 SIAC All-Tournament Team and was named to the 2025 SIAC Preseason First Team.
