SAVANNAH, Ga.- Savannah State improved their overall record to 7-5, following a 3-0 sweep of Allen, in a match played at Tiger Arena on October 18, 2024.

The Lady Tigers won the opening set 25-20 and followed with victories of 25-17 and 25-22 in the second and third sets to complete the sweep.

SSU also improved to 6-3 in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, with the win.

Jasmine Nettles paved the way for the win with 10 kills, 14 digs and two blocks.

Kloe Ludy had a game-high 22 digs and
Savannah Everett led everyone with 18 kills to compliment her .441 hitting percentage.
Amiyah Walker led all players with 25 assists.

Tiana Curry just fell short of a triple double, finishing with 19 assists, nine kills and nine digs.

Saniaa Dickey finished with three aces and 13 digs while
Ayanna Klaiber-Norris had two blocks.
Aaliyah Saunders played in two sets and had a .750 hitting percentage.

Savannah State will go after their fourth win in a row when they face Benedict on October 19 in Tiger Arena at 11 a.m.
