SSU To Offer Summer Baseball Camps

^{SAVANNAH, Ga.-Savannah State head baseball coach Carlton Hardy and his coaching staff will host two baseball camps this summer.}

^{The Elite Prospect Showcase Camp for high school and junior college players will take place on June 4 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.. The cost of the camp is $150 per person.}

^{The Carlton Hardy Youth Camp, which is for ages 6-14, will run June 12-15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost of the camp is $175. Campers will receive lunch and a t-shirt.}

^{Both camps will be held on the SSU campus at Tiger Baseball Field.}

^{Hardy has been a head baseball coach since 1998 and has been the head coach at SSU since 2006. He has over 400 career wins in his tenure as a head coach at Talladega, Olivet and Savannah State. While at SSU, he has won Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Coach of the Year (2013) and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year (2022). The Tigers also won the MEAC Baseball Tournament under Hardy in 2013.}
