SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Savannah State University women's tennis team travels to Cullowhee, N.C., to face Western Carolina University on Friday and then travels to South Carolina on Saturday to compete against Wofford College and Presbyterian College.
The Lady Tigers first match of the weekend will be Friday against WCU at 2:30 p.m. The following day, SSU travels to Spartanburg to play Wofford at 10:30 a.m. followed by a 3 p.m. match in Clinton at Presbyterian.
In SSU's last match, its season opener, on Jan 9, the team fell to Alabama State University in Statesboro, Ga., 7-0.
SSU's 2017 team consist of: senior
Sandy Lochu at the No. 1 singles position; in the No. 2 singles spot is freshman
Lili-Morgan Pastore; junior
Rachida El Kateb is in the No. 3 singles position, in the No. 4 singles spot is senior
Jennyfer Vivas; and in No. 5 singles position is senior
Bria Burrows.
