Coach Raeburn on positives from Georgia Southern game….
"When I watched the film, I saw we did some good things. The problem was; we just couldn't do it on a consistent basis. So yeah that was just what we tried to talk to our guys about this week and after the game. We just have to keep improving and cleaning up some of the mistakes we are making so we can be a little more consistent. "

Coach Raeburn on Southern Miss Matchup…
"Yeah obviously another excellent opponent. Offensively, they had about 600 yards against Kentucky and about 300 rushing. I know that Kentucky is not on the top of the SEC, but they still are an SEC team. And so if you get 300 yards rushing against an SEC team then you are a good football program. We struggled to stop the run against Georgia Southern, so that would be a real challenge for us. Obviously, we have to do better in run defense."

Coach Raeburn on team leading tackler Mulik Simmons…
"You know we have really been impressed with him in camp. He actually got elected captain by his teammates so the guys obviously respect him as a leader. I thought he played well and Georgia Southern is really good at running the football and I thought he did a great job on some of the inside runs and getting on the outside and helping on some of the option plays. So we were happy with him for sure and we have really felt like he has improved since the beginning of camp, so hopefully he'll continue to improve and keep getting better for us."
