The Savannah State Tigers will host the North Carolina A&T Aggies in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference three-game weekend series starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 2.

Both the Tigers and Aggies come in to the series with 2-4 conferences records and are battling for one of three spots to the MEAC Baseball Tournament in May.

SSU is coming off a 16-6 mid-week loss to instate rival Mercer University on Tuesday. The Tigers are led by Jonathan Moore and Marcus Mitchell who are both batting .333 on the season. Moore is second on the team in hits and RBI with 27 and 14, respectively. MEAC Preseason Player of the Year Charles "Tre" Sikes is hitting .264, along with 24 hits, three doubles, two triples and 14 RBI.
