MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – The Savannah State University women's tennis team (0-15) fell to College of Charleston (12-5) at the CofC Tennis Center Tuesday.

The Lady Tigers lost all three doubles point as SSU's doubles duo of Sandy Lochu and Elizabeth Geronimo fell to CofC's doubles team Mara Argyriou and Katherine Schofield 6-0 at the No. 1 doubles position, while SSU's doubles team of Rachida Kateb and Jennyfer Vivas fell to CofC's doubles duo of Helena Nyikos and Sarah Zschunke 6-0 at the No. 2 doubles position and SSU's doubles duo of Bria Burrows and Tiffany Williams fell to CofC's doubles team of Brooke McAmis and Diana Colen 6-0 at the No. 3 doubles position.
 
Geronimo came the closest advancing to a third set, but lost to Schofield 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 2 singles position, while Lochu fell to Liza Fieldsend 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 1 singles position and Kateb fell to Argyriou 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 3 singles position.
 
Burrows fell to Hyikos 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 4 singles position, while Vivas fell to Colen 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 5 singles position and Williams fell to Zschunke 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 6 singles position. 
 
The Lady Tigers continue in Mt. Pleasant with a match against Towson University Wednesday at 10 a.m. before returning home for the final three home matches of the season starting with the University of Southern Mississippi Friday at 2 p.m. at the Tiger Tennis Courts.
