Box Score SAVANNAH, Ga.- Presbyterian held Savannah State to six hits in a 6-1 non-conference win over the Tigers in a game played at Tiger Field.

Greg Hollman gave up seven hits and four runs, two of which were unearned, in 2.1 innings. The rest of the Tigers relievers (
Kenny Glover,
Giancarlo Mirabal,
Malik Jones,
Rex Davis and
Zach Chandler) held Presbyterian to 10 hits and two runs.

Presbyterian, who collected 17 hits in the game, scored four times in the first inning.

SSU scored their lone run in the bottom half of the first.

Hector Benitez led off with a double down the right field line and advanced to third on a ground-out by
Jonathan Moore. A sacrifice fly by Charles Sikes allowed Benitez to cross home plate.Â

PC (18-15) added a run in the fourth inning to go ahead 5-1 and scored again in the seventh for a 6-1 cushion.

The Blue Hose left 11 runners on base while Savannah State left six on base and made three errors.

Zachary Brigham and
Brian Miller each had two hits for the Tigers (13-20). Hollman was tagged with the loss.

Peter Johnson had four hits for PC while Aaron Lesiak earned the win. Lesiak pitched five innings and gave up four hits and one run.
