SSU will take on Charleston Southern in the first of two meetings today at 5 p.m. in Savannah, Ga. The Tigers return home after a 10-game road swing and are looking to snap an eight-game losing streak. SSU, who are 9-4 at home this season, last played in Savannah on March 18 when they defeated Georgia State 7-3.

The Tigers are led by senior third baseman Zachary Brigham's .365 batting average. Brigham leads the team in RBI (26) is second in hits (38) and doubles (8) and has two homeruns this season. MEAC Preseason Player of the Year Charles (Tre) Sikes is next in hitting with a .342 batting average. Sikes leads the Tigers in hits (39) and doubles (13).

As a team, SSU is second in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) in batting average (.259), hits (265), ERA (4.78), and shutouts (2).
