Box Score DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- Trailing 2-0 entering the bottom of the eighth inning, Bethune-Cookman rallied scored three runs in the final two innings to take a 3-2 conference win over Savannah State, in a game played at Jackie Robinson Park.

The B-CU win gave the Wildcats the weekend sweep over Savannah State.

The Tigers, who stranded six base runners in the game, scored both of their runs in the top of the seventh.

David Richards led off with a walk and
Jonathan Moore followed with a single. After a pitching change,
Harrison Moore flied out but the ball was deep enough for Richards to score the first run of the game.
Ryan McCranie and
Somto Egbuna hit back to back singles and Egbuna's single allowed Moore to cross home plate to give SSU a 2-0 edge.

In the eighth, Cookman left the bases loaded but could only muster one run.

Jordan Robinson singled and Jose Carballo reached on a fielder's choice but Robinson was thrown out at second. Austin Garcia singled and Zach Olszewski was hit by a pitch to load the bases. A walk to Brandon Wilkes allowed Carallo to score and slice their deficit to 2-1.

In the ninth, the Wildcats scored the game tying and winning runs with two outs as Robinson hit a RBI triple and scored on a wild pitch.

Charles Sikes had two hits for Savannah State (12-16,6-6 MEAC).
Rex Davis, who pitched one inning in relief was given the loss. Starter
Zach McCormack pitched 7.2 innings and gave up six hits, one run and five walks while striking out three.

Robinson had three hits for the Wildcats (10-21,9-3 MEAC). Michael Austin was given the win. Austin pitched three inning in relief and gave up two hits while striking out two.

B-CU left 11 men on base while both teams made two errors.
