Women's Tennis Falls To Charleston Southern

SAVANNAH, Ga - Savannah State fell to Charleston Southern, 0-7, Saturday morning on the Tiger Tennis Courts. The Lady Tigers fall to 1-4 on the season.
 
SSU Kamelia Dimitrova in the first court of  singles competition wrestled with CSU's Yvonne Hubler in the first set, losing a close 5-7 battle. Dimitrova dropped the second set 0-6.
 
In position two, Sandy Lochu was defeated, 0-6 and 1-6 by Angelica Sindorenko. Jennyfer Vivas lost to Nicolin Lueke in court three, 1-6 and 1-6. Senior Tiffany Williams dropped her match against Valeria Koussenkova in straight sets, 1-6 and 0-6, in court four.
 
In court five, Bria Burrows garnered two points in set one versus Sophie Cloessner but fell 0-6 in the second set. The Lady Buccaneers received a point by default in court six.
 
Dimitrova and Lochu faced up to Sindorenko and Mi'Kola Cooper for doubles play in court one. The duo put up a fight against the Lady Bucs, but fell, 3-8.
 
Vivas and Burrows in court two also fell in their match against Lueke and Hubler, 0-8. CSU received a win in court three by default.
 
The Lady Tigers have two weeks to prepare for their next match. The take on Albany State on Mar. 7.
