Coach Wilson on Florida A&M matchup...

It should be a good one. We've got a lot of young guys. I think my guys are improving each week and doing a great job and becoming more disciplined. I know that Alex Wood (FAMU head coach) is one of the premier coaches in America. He's going to have his team ready to play. A lot of people are maybe going to drive up here. My cousins are FAM grads and they're going to be wearing green and orange and I'd love nothing more than to beat them.

Coach Wilson on the growth of the team from the beginning of the season till now…

I think just in football IQ. When you're playing a good amount of freshmen and sophomores and having a new offense installed, you see them go from they're still stuttering a little bit; but counting 8 or 9 or 9 to 10 play drives against a good team like Bethune-Cookman. You know that they're going to start finishing the product pretty soon. Hopefully it'll be this week. Offense I've seen doing well. Defensively we're beginning to step it up more. We have some guys that are first year players that are really standing out. We do a highlight tape at the end so we can see how many freshmen are making plays. They're beginning to understand the game.

Coach Wilson on the Bethune-Cookman game….

Terry did a great job preparing his players after having a down week the week before in playing Lane. But he came out and he did a lot of great things. His coaching staff put together a great game plan. We hung in there with them, we had about nine drives over 10 to 12 plays. But you know you can drive it down there, but if you're that many times inside the red zone you don't come away with any points, and you're going to probably end up losing the game and that's what we did.

The Series: Florida A&M leads the series 7-0. The Tigers have never beaten Florida A&M and the closest game was last season when Florida A&M won 14-24 in Tallahassee, Fla.
