The Savannah State Tigers have moved into the 4th place spot in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play after a series sweep over North Carolina A&T. The Tigers, who have won their last five conference games, are still battling to make it to the MEAC Championship. The Tigers will honor seven prior to first pitch on Sunday: Todd Hagen, Hunter Ross, Ian Farris, Ethan Glass, Kevin Herlihy, Parker Nix and Aaron Hoffer.

Bethune-Cookman comes to Savannah in 1st place in the MEAC standings with a 12-9 record. The Wildcats have dropped their last 7 of 8 games including 1-2 against N.C. A&T. BCU is led by Eric Sams who is batting .316 with 54 hits, 12 doubles and 15 RBI.
